WSP is seeking an Early Career Civil Engineer to join the Southeast Transportation Engineering Team in Tampa or Orlando. You will support design and construction of infrastructure projects in public and private sectors, contributing to research, concept development, and documentation.

The role provides exposure to highway, interchanges, pedestrian infrastructure, and design-build projects with mentorship and growth opportunities, while upholding safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 0–1 year of post-education experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic proficiency with technical writing and software tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist design teams on highway construction, interchanges, and pedestrian/bicycle infrastructure.
• Provide basic design tasks, engineering calculations, and CAD drawings.
• Support development of project documentation, cost estimates, and specifications.
• Coordinate with staff across disciplines and attend design meetings.
