Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Early Career Civil Transportation Engineer in our Albuquerque office to contribute to transportation infrastructure projects from design through construction. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience.
Engineer in Training Certification (or ability to obtain one in 6 months).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others.
Self-starter with attention to detail in a dynamic work environment.
Desire to learn and develop skill set and passion for transportation systems.

Responsibilities

Assist and support design teams in the execution of project delivery.
Provide technical input during various stages of projects, including preliminary design, final design, construction and contract documentation.
Perform basic design tasks and drawings using CAD tools to develop conceptual transportation projects in AutoCAD Civil 3D and OpenRoads.
Perform standard computations and analysis.
Attend design meetings and coordinate with team members.
Develop memorandums and other written technical documents.
