Job summary

Amerex Petroleum #2 Singapore Pte Ltd invites a detail-oriented back-office professional to join our busy Orchard Road team. You will handle deal tickets, post trades, and ensure accurate settlements, while supporting compliance and reporting tasks.

We offer a role with varied duties, including onboarding, documentation support, and daily operational tasks. Proficiency in MS Office and a proactive attitude are required; Chinese language ability is essential for China customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to multi-task and work effectively in a team or alone.
• Excellent communication and people skills with colleagues and clients.
• Demonstrates eagerness to learn and adapt to new circumstances.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office for daily tasks.
• Chinese language is essential to communicate with China customers.
• Experience in the relevant industry is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Write up deal tickets accurately.
• Post trades onto Exchanges and ensure proper settlement.
• Resolve discrepancies or disputes as needed.
• Record deals into deal sheets and input receipts.
• Check and send trade confirmations and daily reports.
• Create invoices and input receipts; update reports.
• Participate in onboarding and documentation processes.
• Support brokers with trade-related duties and ad hoc tasks.
