This hybrid role offers an excellent opportunity for a driven legal professional to work on complex financial transactions, including documentation under ISDA protocols and regulatory frameworks. The position is available through a legal recruiting firm acting on behalf of the hiring law firm.

Duties:

Draft and negotiate key documents under ISDA Master Agreements, including:

Schedule

Credit Support Annex

Confirmations and related derivative instruments

Interpret and apply Dodd-Frank and similar ISDA regulatory protocols

Provide legal support on structured finance matters and over-the-counter derivatives

Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to facilitate transactions

Research and resolve complex regulatory and contractual issues

Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Handle assignments independently and manage timelines efficiently

Requirements:

3-5 years of focused experience in derivatives and structured finance

Previous experience at a nationally recognized or large law firm preferred

Familiarity with ISDA documentation and regulatory frameworks

Proven ability to handle client relationships and transactions with minimal supervision

Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
