Job Description:

As a Senior Associate in Commercial Litigation, you will play a pivotal role in driving case strategy, managing complex disputes, and providing leadership to a team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience, with a strong background in corporate law and shareholder disputes.

Responsibilities:

• Case Strategy and Management:Develop and implement effective case strategies for complex commercial litigation matters. Oversee a diverse caseload, including corporate and shareholder disputes, from inception to resolution.
• Leadership and Mentorship:Provide leadership and guidance to junior associates and support staff. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting professional development.
• Client Interaction:Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and legal representation. Strategically advise clients on legal matters and case progress.
• Legal Expertise:Demonstrate expertise in commercial litigation, with a focus on corporate and shareholder disputes. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and provide sound legal advice.
• Adherence to Regulations:Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations, including procedural rules such as the CPLR.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of solid experience in commercial litigation.
• Extensive experience in corporate and shareholder divorce cases in New York and New Jersey State and Federal Courts.
• Strong leadership qualities with a proven track record of mentorship.
• In-depth knowledge of the Civil Practice Law and Rules (CPLR).
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in New York and New Jersey.
