Job summary

MSTiller, LLC is seeking a Tax Senior Associate with 5 years of tax accounting experience to join our Georgia-based practice. You will handle complex returns and tax projections, working with clients across various industries.

We offer growth opportunities, flexible hours, and a supportive team culture in a hybrid environment. CPA preferred or in progress, with strong software skills and client-service orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Master in Taxation or Master of Accountancy with a tax focus is preferred.
• CPA or have passed part of the CPA Exam is preferred.
• Experience with tax software (preferably CCH Axcess) and ability to learn new software quickly.
• 2–5 years' experience in preparing complex tax returns (individual, partnership, corporate, S-Corp) and tax research.

Responsibilities

• Serving clients with complex tax needs.
• Preparation of individual, partnership, fiduciary, tax-exempt and other tax returns.
• Preparation of income tax projections involving multiple scenarios and complex analysis.
• Interactions with client personnel to obtain essential information for tax services.
• Supervising and serving as a technical resource to less experienced Tax Staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Master in Taxation or Master of Accountancy with a tax focus
• CPA or have passed part of the CPA Exam already
• Experience with tax software (preferably CCH Axcess) with the desire to quickly learn new software packages
• Two - five years' experience in preparing complex individual, partnership, corporate and S-Corp tax returns as well as the research of tax issues
• Works well with managing a variety of projects and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service oriented really enjoys people and getting to know our clients, their businesses and the industries that they operate in.
• Works well independently or as part of a team

As a Senior Tax Associate, you will be involved in

• Serving a client with complex tax needs
• Preparation of individual, partnership, fiduciary, tax-exempt and other types of tax returns
• Preparation of income tax projections that involve multiple scenarios and complex analysis
• Interactions with client personnel to obtain information essential to delivering tax services
• Supervising and serving as a technical resource to lesser experience Tax Staff members
