Job summary

OU Medicine in Oklahoma City is seeking an entry-level Systems & Infrastructure Administrator I to join the Information Systems team. You will provide Tier I support for all infrastructure components, monitor the ticketing system, assist with VSI environments, and help implement strategic infrastructure projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 0–3 years of experience, plus certifications such as RHCSA or AZ-800.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting server and client Operating systems, storage devices and applications.
• Understanding of foundational IT concepts regarding Operating Systems, Active Directory, storage devices, networking and security.
• Thorough knowledge regarding the OSI Model
• Ability to solve/troubleshoot moderate to complex problems.
• Ability to collaborate within a team environment

Responsibilities

• Provides Tier I support for all infrastructure components.
• Monitors ticketing queue and escalates tickets as required
• Support of the VSI environment
• Assess emerging industry trends; anticipate and develop strategic solutions
• Manages data collection, reporting, and trending for critical devices and components
• Participates in the technical implementation of projects and initiatives
