OU Health is seeking an entry level Systems & Infrastructure Administration I to join the Information Systems team in Oklahoma City. The role focuses on foundational IT concepts, operating systems, Active Directory, storage, networking and security, with strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills to complete tasks.
The position emphasizes supporting infrastructure, monitoring tickets, and participating in projects, with a path toward certification within the first year.
Position Title: Systems & Infrastructure Administration I
Department: Information Systems
The Systems & Infrastructure Administrator I is an entry level position on the Systems Engineering team. The candidate should have a solid understanding of foundational IT concepts regarding Operating Systems, Active Directory, storage devices, networking, and security with thorough knowledge regarding the OSI Model. The candidate will require developed troubleshooting skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment to successfully complete technical tasks.

Provides Tier I support for all infrastructure components.
Monitors ticketing queue and escalates tickets as required
Support of the VSI environment
Assess emerging industry trends; anticipate and develop strategic solutions
Manages data collection, reporting, and trending for critical devices and components
Participates in the technical implementation of projects and initiatives
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree required.
0-3 years of relevant experience required.
Entry level certification required within one year of employment such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator or Exam AZ-800: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure
Experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting server and client Operating systems, storage devices and applications.
Understanding of foundational IT concepts regarding Operating Systems, Active Directory, storage devices, networking and security.
Thorough knowledge regarding the OSI Model
Ability to solve/troubleshoot moderate to complex problems
Ability to collaborate within a team environment
