Job summary

STLRecruit's client in Oklahoma City is seeking a hands-on Systems Administrator to support and maintain the site's technology infrastructure. This role will ensure reliable operation of desktops, servers, networks, Azure cloud services, and security systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• 3+ years of systems administration or IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and server environments, Azure/Entra ID and AD.
• Networking fundamentals, endpoint management, and virtualization.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations and IT ticketing systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot and support hardware and software.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and virtualization technologies.
• Support Microsoft Azure cloud services and Intune/MDM platforms.
• Provide end-user support and ensure reliable operation of desktops, servers and networks.
• Assist with backup, recovery, and security best practices in a manufacturing environment.

Job description

STLRecruit's client, the Oklahoma City manufacturing site for a $500 million Kansas City-based company, is seeking a (US Citizen CURRENTLY based in Oklahoma City) hands-on Systems Administrator to support and maintain the site's technology infrastructure. This role serves as the primary technical resource for end users, ensuring reliable operation of desktop and laptop systems, servers, networks, Microsoft Azure cloud services, mobile devices, printers, IP camera systems, and other business-critical technology. The Systems Administrator will install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support hardware, software, operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, virtualization, endpoint patching, Microsoft Intune (or similar MDM platform), Remote Desktop Services, backup and recovery solutions, and network connectivity while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• The ideal candidate has 3+ years of systems administration or IT support experience with strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments, Microsoft Azure/Entra ID, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, endpoint management, and virtualization technologies. Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations, IT ticketing systems, cybersecurity best practices, and physical security systems is preferred. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently while providing outstanding support to users at all levels of the organization. Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ are a plus.
