Job summary

Peraton has an immediate opportunity for a cleared Junior Systems Engineer in Laurel, MD to join a large Cyber and Data Management program. You will create program artifacts, document performance strategies, and develop system requirements to meet client specifications for compute, storage, capacity, and sustainment.

Responsibilities include drafting and designing requirements, gathering technical information, and preparing written text.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field is required; CS/Math/IS/Engineering accepted.
• Security+ certification is required.
• Familiar with software life cycle processes (IEEE/EIA 12207) and standards.
• Understanding of agile and/or spiral development.

Responsibilities

• Create program artifacts including compliance, performance, and operational documentation.
• Formulate and document client performance strategies and initiatives.
• Develop system requirements to meet client specifications for compute, storage, capacity and sustainment.
• Create configuration, functional and system requirements for each system.
• Gather technical information and prepare written text.
• Use Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
