Job summary

Peraton seeks a System Engineer to join the Cyber Intelligence team in Laurel, MD, delivering next-generation cyber and AI/ML capabilities on large compute clusters and AWS. You will manage system requirements, lead design activities, and develop architecture and documentation for secure, scalable systems.

The role requires active TS/SCI with poly, 7+ years in SE, and a relevant bachelor's degree, with experience in DoDAF/architecture frameworks and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 7+ years of SE experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline; 5 years extra SE experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with large-scale compute clusters and cloud environments (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and develop system requirements specifications.
• Lead design and development activities; guide users in requirements and alternatives.
• Provide technical leadership for integrating requirements, design and technology.
• Develop system architecture and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with government oversight on SE considerations and issues.
