Job summary

KBR is seeking an entry level Jr. Systems Engineer (Digital Engineering Engagement) to join our on-site team in Chantilly, VA. A current TS/SCI clearance with poly is required for consideration.

You will work under supervision to apply MBSE and DE approaches across the enterprise. You'll collaborate with Engagement Specialists to modernize systems engineering, develop data-driven models, and support mission-critical defense programs.

Qualifications

• Current/active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 0 years of experience.
• Foundational understanding of systems engineering and MBSE.
• Basic understanding of data concepts including relational databases, ontology, UAF or SysML.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apprentice to Engagement Specialists and perform tasks under supervision.
• Increase engagement across the Enterprise and with other agencies for systems engineering modernization.
• Deliver foundational digital engineering approaches ensuring MBSE processes are met.
• Assist in MBSE tool usage and modeling efforts.
• Support enterprise digital engineering with accessible, interconnected models and data.
