Job summary

Trinzic, the forthcoming spin-off from KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions, seeks a Junior Systems Engineer (Digital Engineering Process Support) on-site in Chantilly, VA. A TS/SCI clearance with poly is required to join a defense-focused team working on MBSE and digital engineering initiatives.

You’ll support DE processes, deliver foundational MBSE approaches, and help enable modernization of systems engineering and acquisition workflows while collaborating with senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field and 0 years of experience.
• Foundational understanding of systems engineering and MBSE.
• Basic data concepts knowledge (databases, ontology, SysML/UAF).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fulfilling Digital Engineering (DE) processes for enterprise adoption.
• Support MBSE methods, model quality, and data interoperability.
• Help develop digital thread framework and model repositories.
• Support modernization of systems engineering and acquisition processes.
• Communicate modeling concepts to stakeholders at various levels.
