Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer for on-site work at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD. The role supports acquisition, development, and sustainment of aviation programs with opportunities to engage in agile and SAFe processes.

Applicants must have a Secret clearance or be able to obtain one, with potential for Top Secret later. This full-time position requires a BS in a technical ABET-accredited field and at least two years of relevant

Qualifications

• Experience in software or systems engineering (2+ years).
• Knowledge of avionics systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Conduct analysis of software defects.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity subject Matter experts.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Support the ECP process.
• Participate in Agile and SAFe team processes.
• Prepare and review SOWs and CDRLs.
• Develop IGCEs.
• Support technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
