Qualifications

• Elicit and document functional requirements from government customer and stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into Jira user stories and epics for development teams.
• Conduct initial functional testing of application features.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong written and verbal communication for presenting to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with software development concepts (e.g., Java or JavaScript frameworks, RESTful microservices).

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering & Decomposition: Elicit and document functional requirements.
• User Story Development: Translate requirements into well-defined Jira user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Sprint Curation: Groom the sprint backlog with appropriately sized stories.
• Developer Support: Be a point of contact for developers and blockers.
• Initial Testing: Conduct initial functional testing to validate features.
• Customer Presentation: Present developments to government customer for feedback.
• UX Collaboration: Work with UX team on designs reflecting usability.
• Agile Ceremonies: Actively participate in sprint planning and demos.
