Job summary

Booker DiMaio is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support the planning, design, and implementation of mission-critical software capabilities for government customers in Maryland.

This role involves working directly with customers, systems engineers, developers, and the UX team to ensure features are defined, built, tested, and delivered. An active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required, and the position is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD with one remote day each week.

Qualifications

• Elicit and document functional requirements from government customer and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document functional requirements from the government customer and stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into Jira user stories and epics for development teams.
• Curate and groom the sprint backlog for appropriately sized, sequenced work.
• Serve as a point of contact for developers and remove blockers during the sprint.
• Conduct initial functional testing to validate features against requirements.
• Present new development and features to the government customer and gather feedback.
• Partner with the UX team to reflect usability and design considerations in requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, demos, retrospectives).
