Locknet Managed IT seeks a Systems Administrator I to support client and internal users, ensuring reliable, secure computer operations in a fast-paced environment. You’ll respond to requests, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions with remote tools while building foundational IT skills.

The role emphasizes coaching, documentation, and teamwork, with on-call rotation and growth opportunities within a regulated, security-focused setting.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Computer Science or related field, or two years of equivalent IT experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft desktop and server operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service mindset with verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software across PCs, printers, laptops, and servers.
• Familiar with diagnostic and help desk tools and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and tickets.
• Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic utilities and documented processes.
• Perform remote software installs, upgrades, and configuration.
• Escalate issues as needed while documenting progress through resolution.
• Test fixes and complete post-resolution follow-ups for user satisfaction.
