Job summary

MotivHealth is hiring a Junior System Administrator to join our IT team. This role offers hands-on experience in a healthcare tech environment and growth alongside senior IT staff.

Responsibilities include supporting internal systems, managing accounts, and administering Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Intune, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams). You will collaborate with IT, claims, underwriting and contribute to data security and uptime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a system administration, IT support, or help desk role.
• Basic knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, and Windows/macOS/Linux.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Entra ID, Intune, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
• Some scripting ability (PowerShell/Bash/Python) and automation interest.
• Understanding of data security, especially in healthcare/insurance.
• Strong troubleshooting and willingness to learn from seniors.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize.
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for internal systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Assist with user account setup, access management, and permissions.
• Support administration of Microsoft 365 and related SaaS apps (Entra ID, Intune, Outlook).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when needed.
• Support maintenance of eligibility, claims, and benefit systems for uptime and data integrity.
• Help ensure HIPAA/compliance with data security and system access requirements.
• Assist with patch management and routine system maintenance.
• Support onboarding/offboarding by provisioning/deprovisioning access.
• Document configurations and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge base.
• Respond to help desk tickets with timely resolution or escalation.
• Collaborate with IT, claims, underwriting to support data integrity.
• Assist in backup and disaster recovery processes.
