Job summary

WSP is seeking an Early Career Structural Engineer for our New York, NY office. The role involves supporting the analysis, design, and construction of building structures across residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects.

You will assist with basic design tasks, develop models, prepare documents, and collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure safe, code-compliant solutions and continued technical growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience.
• Ability to conduct engineering design under supervision.
• Familiarity with structural design software and codes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structural design and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry and foundations.
• Develop structural models and calculations using industry software.
• Prepare construction documents and technical reports.
• Support construction administration activities and project coordination with architects and MEP engineers.
