WSP USA is seeking a full-time Early Career Structural Engineer for our Herndon, VA or Richmond, VA offices to support the Mid-Atlantic South Structures Section on building and infrastructure projects. You will help design, develop, and construct with a focus on safety, quality, and performance.

The role includes data collection and analysis, basic professional engineering tasks, and preparing clear documentation. A disciplined, collaborative mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0 to 1 year of relevant post-education experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with design/build concepts and construction laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing site data and project information.
• Support basic professional structural engineering work and inspections.
• Prepare documentation using electronic systems, drawings, and logs.
• Contribute to ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on projects.
