Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join the Federal Buildings team. You will assist in designing new complexes and renovations, and help create construction documents under guidance of Professional Engineers.

You will strengthen your knowledge of structural analysis for vertical and lateral systems, collaborate across disciplines, and advance toward professional licensure with mentorship and a focus on learning.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required; CPT not eligible.
• Enrolled in ABET-accredited program with structural emphasis.
• Live within ~50 miles of Jacobs office in St. Louis; commutable distance.

Responsibilities

• Design new multi-building complexes and renovations under guidance.
• Produce construction documents and perform structural calculations.
• Collaborate with Structural Lead, PMs, engineers and designers across disciplines.
• Develop understanding of vertical and lateral system design per applicable codes.
