Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for the St. Louis, MO area. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team to work on bridges and other infrastructure, applying theory to real projects under experienced engineers’ guidance.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering.
  • At least a rising Junior.
  • Knowledge of bridge design practices through coursework, internships or work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Office Suite; experience with structural engineering software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in design and analysis of structural systems, including bridges and other infrastructure.
  • Prepare plans, calculations, and cost estimates under supervision.
  • Contribute to drawings, specifications, and reports to document project details.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality results.
