You’ll perform basic calculations and work with Designers to convert requirements into drawings and a model, developing a solid foundation in structural engineering. The role emphasizes communication, attention to detail, and meeting project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 0–2 years relevant work experience
• Hybrid work: 2 days per week in local office or project site
• Requires internet with minimum 25 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload

Responsibilities

• Perform increasingly complex calculations and analysis as the structural design develops
• Collaborate with Designers to convey structural requirements on paper and in the model
• Develop understanding of vertical and lateral structural systems per codes and standards
• Grow under mentorship to become an integral member of the design team
