Job summary
Degenkolb Engineers is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer/Designer to join our teams across multiple U.S. offices, including California.
You will assist in planning, analysis, and design of projects with mentorship from experienced engineers, gaining exposure to client coordination, site visits, and deliverables for public and private sector work. You will be supported to develop technical knowledge, professional judgment, and communication skills while progressing toward PE licensure
Qualifications
- Master's degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience showing advanced structural design.
- Bachelor's with 1–2 years highly technical design experience considered if proficiency equals graduate work.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design under licensed engineers to deliver safe, compliant solutions.
- Produce accurate, organized project deliverables and documentation.
- Support client communications and site visits with engineers and project managers.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to connect design decisions with constructability.
