Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Graduate Engineer to design engineering systems for overhead and subsurface utility projects, handling challenges in electrical, structural, civil, and construction work. You will own phases from initiation to construction closeout, with growing client communication and project risk management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of design codes including AISC, ASCE, and IBC.
• Proficiency in Mathcad and/or RISA.
• Fundamental knowledge of structural engineering principles.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering theories and analysis to structural and geotechnical designs.
• Prepare sketches and AutoCAD drawings for design operations.
• Work on wood, masonry, steel, and concrete structures.
• Support foundations, earth retention systems, and trench excavations.
• Coordinate design activities to meet specifications and client requirements.
• Prepare technical memos, reports, and construction specifications.
