Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Graduate Engineer to design electrical, civil, structural, and subsurface utility systems, developing creative solutions for complex challenges. This role covers ownership of all design lifecycle phases from initiation through construction closeout.

Ideal candidates have foundational experience, strong problem solving abilities, and willingness to travel as needed. Office locations include Chicago and Oak Brook, IL.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in CivilEngineering with an emphasis on civil/structural/geotechnical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering theories to structural and geotechnical designs.
• Prepare sketches and AutoCAD drawings for design operations.
• Coordinate design activities to meet specifications, codes, and client requirements.
• Read and interpret drawings, calculations, schematics, field observations and reports.
