Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited program.
• Passed FE exam or can do so within six months of hire.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software (e.g., RISA 3D, SAP) and AutoCAD is helpful but not required—we’re ready to teach!
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn from experienced engineers.
• Knowledge of basic structural principles; desire to deepen understanding of codes/standards and materials.
• Strong communication skills, including technical writing.
• Motivation to grow professionally and tackle new challenges.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and participate in fieldwork.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license, good driving record, and vehicle insurance.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structural load determination, perform calculations, and design various bridge and waterfront structures.
• Develop construction drawings using AutoCAD with mentorship.
• Participate in inspections and create detailed technical reports with team support.
• Collaborate across site-civil, surveying, geotechnical engineering, and permitting teams.
