Job summary

PND Engineers, Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska seeks a Structural Engineer (EIT) to join our office and focus on bridge and waterfront/marine structural design. You will learn under experienced engineers and contribute to load determinations and drawings.

Responsibilities include developing construction drawings in AutoCAD, performing calculations for bridges, gangways, piers, and marinas, and collaborating with geotechnical and surveying teams. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited program in structural engineering.
• FE exam within 6 months of hire.
• Familiarity with structural software is helpful but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with load determination and calculations for bridge and waterfront structures.
• Develop construction drawings in AutoCAD with mentorship.
• Support inspections and condition assessments and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with site-civil, surveying, geotechnical, and permitting teams.
