Job summary

PND Engineers, Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska, seeks a Structural Engineer to lead analysis, design, and review of heavy civil/industrial structures; oversee construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit; and perform inspections with thorough technical reports.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis (MS preferred), PE licensure within 12 months, 4+ years of structural experience, and proficiency with RISA 3D, SAP, AutoCAD (Revit a plus).

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis from ABET-accredited institution (MS preferred).
• PE licensure or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• 4+ years of experience in structural analysis and design, ideally for buildings and/or waterfront structures.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA 3D, SAP) and AutoCAD; Revit a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in the analysis, design, and review of building and industrial structures (wood, steel, concrete, masonry).
• Oversee preparation of detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
