Job summary

PND Engineers, Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska seeks a Structural Engineer to lead analysis and design of industrial structures and to mentor junior staff on multidisciplinary projects. You will oversee drawings in AutoCAD/Revit, conduct inspections, and contribute to proposals and client communications.

The role emphasizes heavy civil/industrial projects, travel for fieldwork, and collaboration with architects, geotechnical and MEP teams. A PE license or near-term licensure is expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree with Structural emphasis.
• P.E. licensure or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• 4+ years of structural analysis and design experience.
• Proficiency with RISA 3D, SAP, AutoCAD; Revit a plus.
• Experience with steel, concrete, wood, masonry design.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in analysis, design, and review of structures.
• Oversee detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Conduct inspections and prepare technical reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams.
• Support project management, client communication, and proposals.
