Job summary

SRF Consulting Group, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our growing Structures group. The role focuses on in-state transportation projects, with opportunities to support our bridge, retaining wall and culvert/tunnel design teams across the Midwest.

You will contribute to structural design, contract documents, field inspections and bridge load ratings, with some travel. A BS in civil engineering and EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. in civil engineering from an accredited school with an emphasis in structural engineering.
• 0 – 2 years of experience in structural engineering.
• EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and preparation of Contract Documents.
• Construction administration and periodic field inspections.
• Bridge inspections and load ratings with some travel required.
• Ensure SRF’s QC/QA procedures are maintained for all work.
• Additional duties as assigned.
