Job summary

SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is a 100 percent employee-owned firm seeking a full-time Structural Engineer / Design Lead. The role can be based in Minneapolis, MN, Fargo, ND, or Madison, WI and involves designing and managing structural engineering for public infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited school.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 6+ years of Structural Engineering experience in bridge design preferred.
• Experience on a variety of state and local engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of structural designs and engineering analyses for projects of varying size and complexity.
• Provide technical leadership in preparation and review of construction plans, specs, and design documents.
• Oversee construction administration activities, including field inspections and guiding project delivery.
• Direct the preparation of engineering reports, quantity estimates, and contract documents while mentoring junior staff.
• Lead bridge inspection and load rating efforts, which will require travel.
• Ensure SRF's quality procedures are maintained for all work.
