Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in drafting and design.
• AutoCAD 2004 or later experience.
• Ability to work in the field.
• Surveying experience a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Capable of multitasking.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings and layouts for civil/structural projects.
• Updates and corrections to civil, structural, and permit drawings.
• Prepare hydrographic survey drawings.
• Prepare Drone survey drawings.
• Perform field verification and/or data collection.
• Participate in design reviews with project engineers and field personnel.
• Work with manager and design staff to generate plans, sections and details.
• Follow a project from concept through permitting, design/construction and as-built deliverables.
• Interface between software tools and AutoCAD to produce drawings and presentations.
• Manage drawing sets and document/file management.
