Job summary

MKH Search Limited is seeking an experienced Architectural/Structural Drafter to produce detailed construction and fabrication drawings for commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects. You’ll support estimators, fabricators, and field crews with buildable plans and accurate documentation.

You’ll follow CAD standards, manage revisions, and ensure drawings are clear for on-site assembly. The role requires 4+ years of drafting experience and proficiency with AutoCAD or equivalent CAD

Qualifications

• 4+ years of architectural and/or structural drafting experience in commercial, industrial, or agricultural construction.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or comparable CAD software.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building components, and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, error-free construction drawings for commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects.
• Produce plans detailed enough to support precise material takeoffs.
• Create fabrication drawings with the detail needed to fabricate building components correctly.
• Develop construction plans clear enough for field crews to assemble, erect, and build with minimal questions.
• Keep drawings consistent from one project to the next, following CAD standards.
• Manage revisions during active projects: update the plans, clearly mark the changes, and get revised drawings to the Project Manager promptly.
• Research codes, products, and design details as needed to support accurate drawings.
