Degenkolb Engineers is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer/Designer to join our teams across multiple West Coast and Midwest offices. You will assist in planning, analysis, and design of structural projects under experienced engineers, with exposure to site visits and contract documents.

This role emphasizes learning, mentorship, and professional growth as you contribute to seismic and steel design tasks and client communications, while developing judgment for real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in structural engineering preferred.
• GPA 3.40+ and strong graduate coursework performance.
• FE exam passing is a plus.
• U.S. work authorization for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design under licensed engineers.
• Produce accurate, high-quality project deliverables and docs.
• Support client communications and meetings with clear written/ verbal updates.
• Participate in site visits to observe conditions and performance.
• Expand technical knowledge through mentorship and projects.
• Contribute to project teams and office/firm success.
