APSI Construction Management, Inc. in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join the Accounting team.

This entry-level role provides hands-on exposure to the full accounting cycle and training across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cash application. You will support billing, month-end close, and reporting, with a path toward becoming a Staff Accountant capable of independently managing a full close cycle.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with Deltek Vantage Point or similar ERP/accounting systems preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data.

Responsabilidades

• Open and close timesheet periods and post timesheets.
• Post expenses and amortize prepaid expenses monthly.
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliation and AR/AP aging reports.
• Prepare AR aging, AP aging, Invoice Register and project progress reports.
• Review AR aging over 60 days and follow up with clients.
• Support annual insurance renewal and tax filing, and government compliance.
