Job summary

Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell, GA is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to support back-of-house leadership and manage daily food production across multiple dining outlets. You will mentor line staff, uphold quality and sanitation standards, and assist in leading the kitchen in the absence of senior leadership.

The role requires hands-on leadership, passion for member satisfaction, and flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of progressive culinary experience in a high-volume, upscale/private club setting.
• Experience supervising or leading line stations preferred.
• ServSafe food safety certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen mise en place, line setups, and service across outlets.
• Ensure all dishes meet strict recipes and presentation standards.
• Lead and mentor line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
• Support kitchen leadership in inventory, ordering, and cost control.
