Junior Sous Chef – Seasonal (Temp-to-Hire)
Celebration on Wells – Lake Geneva, WI
Pay: $20/hour + tips
About Us:
Celebration on Wells is a premier catering company in Lake Geneva, WI, specializing in high-end
cuisine for weddings, private parties, and special events. We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to
join our culinary team for the summer season, with the opportunity for a temp-to-hire position after
the season ends.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in daily kitchen prep and execution of high-end cuisine.
• Support onsite and offsite catering, including private chef services in clients’ homes.
• Prepare and cook for banquet weddings and private events.
• Work within the Celebration on Wells food truck.
• Maintain high food quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas.
• This is a physically active role requiring standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and
frequent bending, squatting, and reaching.
• Summer holiday availability (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day) is mandatory.
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of culinary experience in high-end cuisine, or related education preferred.
• High-volume catering experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied event locations.
