Job Description

The Corporate Chef is responsible for leading in-house events (Inspires, Taste Of Alto-Shaam, industry trainings & R&D) and in-field events when needed to support Sales or Culinary. Will support our rep territories and chain activity with equipment training and demonstrations.

The ideal candidate for a Corporate Chef would be able to do the following:

  • Proficient in all Executive Sous Chef duties.
  • Communicate professionally and timely with customers regarding questions or product information via multiple channels.
  • Lead demonstrations, participate in market segment shows, and support national account calls with a Corporate Executive Chef.
  • Provide on-site consultation with customers and sales representatives to offer culinary expertise, enhance customer confidence, and recommend equipment solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Participate in industry and customer trade shows to demonstrate equipment capabilities and educate about product features, benefits, and advantages.
Support Marketing Department
  • Maintain a vibrant relationship with the culinary community through social media, fostering idea exchange and generating leads.
  • Create online media targeted at end users to influence and engage.
  • Collaborate with marketing to produce content showcasing our equipment and its 'how-to' capabilities.
Support Product Management, Engineering, Inside Sales Departments
  • Provide training to improve understanding of products and their applications, thereby enhancing customer experience and quality.
Qualifications

To succeed as a Corporate Chef, candidates should have:

  • A culinary/ServSafe degree and at least 4 years of kitchen experience, including leadership roles such as Executive Chef.
  • The ability to work under pressure and take direction from multiple sources, including providing feedback and coaching to the culinary team.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, balancing demos with other responsibilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, educational, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and market strategies.
  • An established industry presence and the ability to work independently with creative productivity.
  • Flexibility to train and educate while adapting to the demands of a high-stakes sales environment.
