Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join the Chinook Program supporting an Intelligence Community customer and evolving a critical GEOINT application. You will learn from senior engineers, contribute to code, tests, and deployments, and work in an Agile team across locations such as Tucson, AZ and other cities.

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship per contract.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 2–4 years of experience, or Master’s with <2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, test, and deploy software solutions under senior guidance.
• Implement features based on requirements and designs.
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Develop and run unit/integration tests and assist root-cause analysis.
• Support REST APIs, databases and application services; work in Agile sprints.
