Job summary

Brivo in Bethesda, MD is hiring Software Engineers to join our Engineering organization across two high-impact teams: Video and Access. This entry-level role emphasizes mentorship, hands-on work, and delivering real features that reach customers worldwide.

You'll build with AI, deploy at startup speed, and scale your impact within Brivo's platform along with Eagle Eye. A collaborative, on-site culture supports learning and career growth from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Working knowledge of at least one of: Python, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript (coursework, internships, or personal projects all count)
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL
• Comfort using Linux and running shell commands
• Familiarity with Git or another version control system
• Strong curiosity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Build with cutting-edge AI: leverage AI models to prototype, develop, and iterate on security products, APIs, and MCP servers
• Deploy at startup speed: work in small, agile teams, test ideas, push code to production frequently
• Scale your impact: leverage Brivo and Eagle Eye platforms to build applications for boutique to enterprise clients
• Bring fresh AI-native innovation: learn, iterate, and create with no prior industry experience required
