Job summary

HCL is seeking fresh graduates or early‑career professionals to start a career in Software Asset Management (SAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM). The role involves supporting SAM operations, learning licensing models, and assisting senior consultants to deliver cost optimization and compliance for enterprise customers.

You will work under guidance to maintain software inventories, support license checks, and participate in migrations and changes, with a focus on learning ISO 19770 awareness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience; freshers welcome.
• Internship or coursework in IT Asset Management, licensing, or compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day SAM/ITAM operations under guidance of senior SAM consultants.
• Maintain software inventory and entitlement records.
• Assist in license compliance checks and basic reconciliation.
• Learn licensing models and assist in cost optimization.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for SAM activities.
