Job summary

Giants Ridge, managed by Guest Services, is looking for Snowboard Instructors to join our Mountain Sports School for the 2026-2027 winter season. Instructors teach guests of all ages, create a safe and fun learning environment, and help others build confidence on the slopes.

As an Instructor, you’ll develop leadership and teaching skills while working with a supportive team and enjoying great employee perks. Part-time, seasonal role in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching or coaching is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying winter conditions.
• Friendly, patient, and safety-minded with guests of all ages.
• Strong communication and guest-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Upholds safety on varied terrain with changing conditions.
• Prepares and plans lessons to meet individual skill needs.
• Instructs guests in groups and private lessons for all ability levels.
• Helps guests with equipment and loading/unloading lifts.
• Assists in setup and takedown of the Mountain Sports School.
• Follows the Responsibility Code and maintains guest safety.
• Reports injuries or incidents; communicates issues to management.
• Continuously updates teaching skills per PSIA/AASI standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
