The Junior SharePoint Developer will provide SharePoint support to DoD organization. Develop, troubleshoot and maintain SharePoint Online site pages, web parts and workflows. Provide help desk support for SharePoint issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites using SharePoint Designer and out-of-the-box features.
• Implement and customize SharePoint workflows to automate business processes.
• Apply HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery to enhance site functionality and user experience.
• Administer SharePoint permissions and manage access control lists to ensure secure site access.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create documentation for developed solutions and conduct user training as needed.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SharePoint performance or accessibility.
• Support content migration and ensure adherence to site governance and metadata standards.
• Experience with Office 365/SharePoint online, HTML, JQuery, JavaScript, SharePoint Design, SharePoint workflows, Cascading Style Sheets, and SharePoint administration.
• Experience Agile/Scrum software development environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Desire to learn new technologies and skills
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to present complex technical solutions to non-technical staff or customers
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, another related discipline, or equivalent work experience in the software development field will be considered
  
  

Experience

• 3+ years of experience developing and supporting SharePoint
