Job summary

Raymond West in Cypress, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Service Writer to generate quotes for service repairs and recommendations made during routine maintenance and via Customer Care Representatives or Core Sales.

You will create quotes, present options, follow up on repairs, track submissions and approvals, and assist other departments with quoted jobs. Strong written/verbal communication, time management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/DMS systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of increasingly responsible administrative experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Create quotes for repairs needed.
• Provide alternative quotes when multiple repair options available.
• Present quotes to customers or to sales/service representatives as needed.
• Follow up with customers on needed repairs and track quotes submitted and approved.
• Assist other departments in generating quoted jobs for the service department.
• Coordinate with team leader on logistics for parts and service.
