Job summary

Atrium Staffing LLC is seeking a Junior Scientist (Personal Care) in New Jersey to support development of new formulations and improvement of existing products. The role involves formulation work, raw material evaluation and stability testing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has 6–12 months in personal care formulation, strong documentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months in personal care formulation or cosmetics.
• Experience with lab testing and maintaining documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in documenting and analyzing product development data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and reformulate personal care products under guidance from senior scientists.
• Maintain lab records, formulation docs, and development databases.
• Conduct stability testing and evaluate texture, pH, viscosity and other attributes.
• Analyze, document and communicate test results to project teams.
• Prepare, label and submit product samples per procedures.
• Support timelines and budgets to enable successful launches.
• Research new materials and technologies for future innovations.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing, Packaging and Marketing teams.
