Our client is seeking a Junior Chemist – Cosmetic & Personal Care to assist in the development and testing of cosmetic and personal care products.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr - $25/hr

Position Overview:

The Junior Chemist – Cosmetic & Personal Care will assist in the development and testing of cosmetic and personal care products. This role will support laboratory work, help with product formulations, and ensure quality standards are met. The Junior Chemist will work closely with senior chemists and other team members to improve existing products and create new products.

Responsibilities of the Junior Chemist – Cosmetic & Personal Care:

• Prepare solutions and samples for testing.
• Keep lab equipment clean and working properly.
• Record and review test results.
• Help improve product formulas.
• Write simple reports and follow lab procedures.
• Follow all safety and compliance rules.
• Work with team members on research projects.

Required Experience/Skills for the Junior Chemist – Cosmetic & Personal Care:

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of lab equipment and safety.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Junior Chemist – Cosmetic & Personal Care:

• Familiarity with cosmetic or personal care products.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
