Job summary

Summit Line Construction is seeking a Junior Scheduler to support CPM schedules for transmitter, distribution, substation, and renewable projects across the Western U.S. You will work under the Project Controls Manager, building and maintaining schedules that reflect field conditions and contractual obligations.

The role requires 1–3 years in project controls, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and familiarity with Primavera P6 and Excel.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years in construction project controls, scheduling, or a comparable role.
• Bachelor's in CM, Civil Eng, PM, or equivalent experience in project controls.
• Basic CPM scheduling knowledge and schedule logic concepts.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 or willingness to complete training.
• Excel proficiency and handling large data sets for analysis.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CPM schedules for transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• Update schedules weekly/monthly reflecting progress and look-ahead windows.
• Create logic in Primavera P6 linking activities across field workflows.
• Support resource-loaded schedules aligning crews with milestones and labor hours.
• Prepare variance reports and schedule recovery plans with project teams.
• Collaborate with managers and field staff to incorporate field realities.
