Job summary

Beckwood Press Company in Fenton, MO, seeks an Associate Sales Engineer to support the Senior Sales and Applications Engineers throughout the quoting and sales process while gaining hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Sales team throughout the sales process from inquiry to project award
• Participate in customer meetings, conference calls, and onsite visits to develop technical and commercial knowledge while building relationships
• Assist with customer follow-up, scheduling meetings, and maintaining consistent communication throughout the sales cycle
• Serve as a point of contact for customers when Senior Sales team members are unavailable
• Assist in preparing proposals and commercial documentation for standard and custom equipment opportunities
• Coordinate with Sales Engineers, Application Engineers, and internal departments to gather information for accurate proposals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM
• Support order processing and documentation required for a smooth handoff to Operations after award
• Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, CRM utilization, and internal communication
• Develop strong understanding of Beckwood’s product lines and customer applications
• Research prospective customers, emerging markets, and industry trends
• Participate in structured mentorship to grow technical, commercial, and sales skills
