Job summary

Hussmann Corporation is seeking skilled technicians to install commercial refrigeration systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold-storage facilities. You will read plans, solder copper piping, install components, and ensure on-time project completion with customer satisfaction.

Position requires reading blueprints, physical stamina, and willingness to work nights and weekends. EPA 608 preferred, valid driver's license, and strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Physically able to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to fifty pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communications, detail oriented and highly motivated.
• Mechanical aptitude essential.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and out of town as required.
• Strong project management skills and high attention to detail.
• Strong customer focus skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
• Acquire knowledge through on the job training, including new product developments and service bulletins.
• Complete time sheets and invoicing paperwork accurately and timely.
• Read and interpret plans and blueprints for installation of cabling and components.
• Perform soldering, pipe fitting, and installation tasks per project requirements.
• Read, analyze, and interpret specifications, drawings, and regulations.
• Maintain truck inventory and adhere to vehicle maintenance programs.
• Manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
